The football section had a fairly successful season winning the Premier, First Division and Ladies leagues. The Premier team scored a record 93 goals in the league which is probably an all time record for Callies and our district, PEFA.
We took part in the NAFA, previously known as NASB, Easter Soccer Tournament where we ended up fourth against some very strong out of town opposition. We lost in a penalty shoot out in the semi finals of the tournament.
Callies had 12 players represented in the PEFA Squad for the Annual Interdistric Tournament. Congratulations to all those players and to the PEFA coach, our very own Munier Safedien.
It was a very good year for the Juniors with nearly 180 junior players. Congratulations to Richard Moss for taking the double, winning the league and the knockout cups for under 11's. The under 11 final was between the A and B teams.
Thanks to the Tavcor Motor Group's sponsorship, kit and tracksuits were purchased or the Premier team.
